Title: V26-0018 Public Hearing – Vacating Petition by Peter & Alison Farnan, Diana Marie & Kenneth Marlow Vance, Jacob Miller & Lisa Stockton, to vacate a portion of unimproved platted public right-of-way known as Morrison Avenue in Riverview, abutting Folios 075893-0000, 075892-0000, and 075891-0100. Adopt a resolution vacating a portion of unimproved platted public right-of-way known as Morrison Avenue, consisting of approximately 5,396.57 square feet (0.12 acres), lying within the Copeland and Morrison Subdivision of Lot 2, as recorded in Plat Book 1, Page 48, of the Public Records of Hillsborough County, Florida. Marlow Vance, Jacob Miller & Lisa Stockton, to vacate a portion of unimproved platted public

right-of-way known as Morrison Avenue in Riverview, abutting Folios 075893-0000, 075892-0000,

and 075891-0100.

Adopt a resolution vacating a portion of unimproved platted public right-of-way known as Morrison Avenue,

consisting of approximately 5,396.57 square feet (0.12 acres), lying within the Copeland and Morrison

Subdivision of Lot 2, as recorded in Plat Book 1, Page 48, of the Public Records of Hillsborough County,

Florida. The Petitioners submitted this request to facilitate the installation of concrete pad improvements for

recreational vehicle parking and construction of shed and storage structures. There are no objections to this

vacate request. Upon request by staff, a drainage easement is being reserved over a portion of the vacate

area. The Public Works Department has reviewed the petition and confirmed no reimbursement is required

for right-of-way improvements. Estimated costs for required advertising per statute, recording fees, and

processing are accounted for in the Petitioner’s application fee of $400.
